Dr Michael Sherman is one of the best doctors that I have seen . He's thorough and professional and has great bedside manner. If he could be my family doctor it would be great. What I liked about him most is that he actually ask you how you're feeling mentally and physically .
I need to have a scope done on my stomach don't have insurance
I had my second appointment this morning and they did an endoscopy because I've been nauseous since I got sick at the end of January and have lost 10/15lbs in the last couple of months so they're checking to make sure I'm overall pretty healthy. During the procedure, the only time things got eventful was while they were putting me under anesthesia because I started gagging on the bite guard, which isn't surprising for me as it's common for me to gag in dentist appointments, and while I was going under, the nurse and anesthesiologist reacted quickly to my gagging and were doing everything they could to reassure me that everything was okay and I think the anesthesiologist was stroking my hair, which is a very soothing thing for me, and that is the last thing I remember before waking up afterwards. Throughout the time remaining in their care, they were checking on me to make sure I was okay and I also received a phone call a couple hours after they let me leave with my dad who picked me up because they were wanting to check in on me. While I'm not sure if they react like that for all patients or were just being extra soothing because of my multiple mental disorders including anxiety, I'm incredibly appreciative of their response even though I wasn't worried but rather just like this sucks and focused on the nurse due to gagging on the bite guard not being pleasant because it definitely helped make the situation not as awful as it could have been. If I ever need any other procedures done, south view and them are the two places I'd trust to do any procedures I may need in the future
