Dr. Verma is board-certified in gastroenterology and has been practicing with Digestive Specialists in Kettering, Ohio, since 2000 with special interest in gastroenterology. He is a member of several GI societies, including the American Medical Association (AMA), Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA), American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).
He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the Gastroenterology/Hepatology Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Before his time at the Cleveland Clinic, he completed his internal medicine residency at Internal Medicine Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Verma received his medical degree from Rohtak Government Medical College in Rohtak, Haryana, India in 1980.
