Positions Available at Digestive Endoscopy Center, LLC

Registered Nurse Position: Full-Time/Part-Time/PRN

Description:

Responsibilities include patient care in the Pre-op, PACU and Intra-op for endoscopy procedures following the guidelines and regulations that govern our facility.

Competencies:

• Provides safe, individualized and efficient patient care following centers policies and procedures.
• Works as a positive team player who supports all areas of the center each day
• Follows safety and infection control policies and procedures when performing job duties.
• Participates in Safety and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities
• Supports the Center’s ideology, mission, goals and objectives

Requirements:

• Must be a registered nurse with a current and valid Ohio license
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred (can obtain once hired)
• Endoscopy experience a plus

Endoscopy Technician

We are currently searching for Full-Time and Part-Time Endoscopy Technicians to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.  Major responsibilities include: cleaning procedure rooms; assisting physicians; processing scopes; restocking and changing over rooms; performing housekeeping duties and assisting in maintenance of all supplies.  We also cross train our Endo Techs to work as Medical Assistants.  Experience preferred but not required.

Education

• High School or better.

Positions Available at Digestive Specialists, Inc.

• Clinical Medical Assistant applicants must have medical experience, preferably a current certification as a CMA (AAMA) CCMA (NHA) or RMA (ARMA).
• Medical Biller applicants must have a minimum 3 years’ experience, preferably coding diploma and CPC certification.
• Scheduler applicants must have excellent verbal communication skills, previous scheduling experience preferred.
• Check-Out applicants, previous experience in collect co-pays, past due balances and out of pocket amounts preferred.
• Histotech applicants minimum one year experience and ASCP Board Certified or eligible
• Receptionist Position (full-time) applicants must be familiar with health insurance and electronic medical records. Previous experience in patient collect co-pays, past due balances and out of pocket amounts preferred. We have 4 offices in the Dayton area, travel may be required.

All applicants must be dependable, highly motivated, responsible, handle multiple tasks, and work well in a team environment. Must have excellent communication and computer skills, experience with electronic medical records is a plus. Understanding of HIPPA law is required. Patient confidentiality must be treated with utmost importance. Competitive compensation based on experience. GI experience is preferred but not necessary. Employment is based on the above requirements as well a background check, drug testing and physical examination. Knowledge of anatomy/physiology and disease process, medical terminology, coding guidelines and documentation requirements
