Dr. Pouagare received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1984, and then went on to receive his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Miami in 1988. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas, Southwestern in Dallas, Texas in 1991 and his gastroenterology training at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida in 1993.
Dr. Pouagare has been practicing gastroenterology in Kettering, Ohio since 1993 with special interest in colon cancer prevention, esophageal disorders and gastrointestinal motility disorders. He is a member of several medical societies, including The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), American Medical Association (AMA), Ohio State Medical Society (OSMA) and Montgomery County Medical Society (MCMS).
Dr. Pouagare is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
